Turnaround Management
RSI understands every turnaround situation is different. RSI maintains
successful disciplines in all situations while adapting a flexible
methodology that produces positive results for you. Our process
affords us the opportunity to uncover the drivers to effect change.
Extracting rapid results requires executing against a focused plan,
determining strengths and weaknesses, and delivering on a near-term
operational/organizational plan. It is the results of the near term
plan that positions the group for an effective long-term strategy.
We work with you to define and implement the interim successes necessary
to achieve the agreed upon, long-term strategy. Simply stated, if
the firm cannot execute in the short term – there is no long
term

RSI’s
team consists of executives with experience from significant roles
in both Fortune 500 firms and smaller firms. In addition, many of
our team have created and successfully grown their own firms. While
each is educated in a specific discipline or two, all are experienced
multi-disciplined general managers. Thus they have the knowledge
base to rapidly develop and implement strategic operational plans
– for an entire organization or specific product. Together,
and on their own, they have effected organizational successes –
for a company in crisis or in a specific product arena.
A growing
area of our efforts is to be engaged by prospective lenders as part
of the due diligence process before a new loan is made. In these
situations, RSI is often asked to evaluate budgets and the sustainability
of efforts already in place. In its simplest form, we are being
asked to “bless” the plan. In its more detailed form,
we validate adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation,
and amortization (EBITDA); test assumptions; and evaluate earnings
quality.
